SLIPKNOT Fans Created These Ghoulish Masks — Now You Pick The Winners

November 3, 2005

Rockford Register Star reports that a piglike nose, patches of straggly hair and gnarly teeth dot the masks that made the final four in a SLIPKNOT mask-making contest. Now, it's up to you to vote on which mask you like best. Click here to view the finalists and to vote.

The two top vote-getters will receive free tickets to see the heavy metal band Saturday, Nov. 12, at the MetroCentre in Rockford. Plus, they'll get CDs, posters and rubber SLIPKNOT masks. Go online to rrstar.com/music and vote as often as you like until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. More than two dozen masks were entered in the contest, and judges from the newspaper chose four finalists.

All masks entered will remain posted online for your grotesque viewing pleasure.

The winners will be announced Nov. 10.
